About

Welcome to my little space on the internet. I am so glad you are here.

Symmetrical rows of tall trees lining a grassy path, lush green spring foliage.

I am a wife and a mom of two very energetic boys, ages six and three. Although I am a southern girl by birth, I have become somewhat of a gypsy since marriage, traveling across the country twice and being stretched with each move.

I am also a writer, an avid reader, an amateur photographer, and a drinker of copious amounts of coffee. I love curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee by the wood stove.

This blog is where I share the hope of Christ in the midst of a messy life — through motherhood, moves, and the everyday moments that shape us. I'm so glad you stopped by.

Motherhood is a beautiful, exhausting calling that rarely looks like the picture-perfect ideal we imagine. Between the bedtime battles, the endless laundry, and the moments when patience runs thin, it is easy to feel like you are failing. Yet it is precisely in these messy, ordinary days that grace meets us most tenderly. God does not wait until we have everything together to draw near. He meets us in the chaos, reminding us that we are fearfully made for a purpose beyond our to-do lists. The hope of Christ shines brightest not when life is tidy, but when we admit we need help and find His strength filling our weakest places.

Life has a way of taking us through unexpected seasons — moves that uproot us, health struggles that drain us, and emotional valleys that leave us questioning. In those unknown spaces, it can feel like darkness is winning. But the gospel message is that light has already overcome. We are not meant to navigate these transitions alone. Community, prayer, and honest faith carry us through. When we stop pretending to have it all figured out and simply rest in the knowledge that God holds every unknown tomorrow, peace begins to take root. Even in the waiting, He is working, shaping us into people who can offer real hope to others walking through their own hard seasons.
